Taking a break.. Looking forward to Christmas!

Today is the last day of work. I m so happy. Looking forward to holiday, going back to Singapore in 9 more days. Then will go to Taipei and then to Sabah for mission.

Bought a christmas present for Mr Oink today. Been asking what he likes for chirstmas, he said nothing, so i have to use my own wisdom to buy something.

Guess what i bought? A GPS, i think it will be very useful as he always travel around. Now, i will not be afraid that he will lose his way. heehee.

Cant wait to try out my new camera, so we went to kings park and UWA for some photo shoot. Still a beginner, think got to read the manual and take more photos to improve.

Yeah! Bought my Xmas present!! Nikon D80! My dream!

These few days i been searching for a camera, reading forums, comparing price and it really makes me frustrated, because there are too many choices, too many reviews and too many different price. Mr Oink was kind of sad when he saw me brooding over the camera, so he said, "Just buy it.".

Oh well, so today we went to Langford for the famous korean mince noodle and sweet and sour pork, and then we went to camera house at cannington. Before i went into the shop, i pray that i can find someone to guide me. The salesperson that help me out is pretty old.. think abt 60 years old.. He seem very professional, and of course i think he is Nikon supporter.

Cut the story short, Mr Oink and I love the Nikon D80, so we bought it. Our Xmas present... Don't ask me how much is it... :p

Which is the one...

Have always love photography. My camera is my mobile phone with 2mp, and a sony cybershot at 3.5mp, so i think is time to buy new one.

Am thinking to invest in a dSLR, but which one?

Went to do some research, common attraction is canon eos 400d and nikon40x or d80.

The salesman from one shop says that since i m a newbie, should consider Lumix fx-50, semi SLR, will do the work. Selling at A$899 with tripod, 2GB, case. Almost buy it, but i put it on hold.

Went to another camera shop, the saleman recommend d80, which is abit too expensive for me, 18-55mm and AF70-300mm G twin lens kit is A$1799 or canon eos 400d with 18-55mmIS and EF-S 55-250mm IS twin Lens kit at A$1449.

The last camera shop recommend me Sony alpha100, 75-300mm, 18-70mm, HVLF36AM flash, 2GB and a bag for A$1599.

Can someone enlighten me?

Spinning around

Putting on heaps of weight, no discipline to go gym, hooked to computer.
So today Mr oink dragged me to spin class... Very tedious, now aching already, but it was fun and i think i really worked it out.

Uphill, downhill, super fast, super slow... will i go for the class again? I don't know.

5th December

So fast, is already end of the year. Looking forward to my holiday to Taipei and Sabah. Taipei to relax, to meet my dear childhood friend, Sheree and her family and also Liping and Sandy. To Sabah for mission, going to be a challenge for me. Going to inner suburbs. Jia You!

Today is another lousy day at work. I wonder why bully can survive so long in the company, and people actually scare of her. I m going to stand on my position as a manager and defend myself all the way, i need to be stronger, i think i need to put on the attitude i have in the Navy.

Dont want to go into details what she had done to me, dont want to remember.

I thinking of my holidays... i want to buy the lover glove in taiwan, so i can still hold Mr Oink's hand even in cold winter.

Bully at work.

Today is another lousy day. Trying so hard to ask the old pple the right way n newer method of frothing milk, but they dont want to listen. Now wonder so many people complain about the coffee they made. Everyone who buys coffee at my workplace, trust me, I been trying.

Today SCJ was making cappuccino, i was frothing the milk my usual way, she complained that i didnt have froth, so i show her the velvet, creamy and dense froth and she said i did it the wrong way. She said she was taught by an italian 20 years ago.

What the!!!??!! 20 years ago! Nobody froth the milk like her, so bubbly, when u sprinkle chocolate on top of her froth, the froth sink, ugly and disgusting.

I told her i learnt it in school last year, and even famous coffee sellers her dont froth it her way. Do you know what comment she made? She replied, "You learned in chinese school and only make chinese coffee." That is so racist! How can she say that?

I went for coffee making course last year in Melbourne, Victoria training school.

My blood is boiling. Thank God, M is not around, i think i will faint if M and SCJ are around.

I need a new job!

Another day...

Today, i finally realise that the place i work in is crappy. Really pissed with the management, i think you pple need to be re-trained and need to import more new blood. The older generation need to accept changes, whatever u have learnt was 10 years ago, it doesnt work now.
Wake up, if nothing gonna be done, the company will lose heaps!

Time flies, my PIL are going back tonight. Already started to miss them. MIL, thank you so much for waking early everyday to prepare such sumptuous meal.
DIL, thank you for all the new recipes, all passed with flying colours. Yummy. Both of you have feed us really well. Hope you did enjoy your trip here. Looking forward to your next trip, have a safe journey back. muack!

Pamper myself, pamper not.

Been working pretty hard lately, so i thought i should pamper myself for going to spa. Found a new spa, so decided to give it a try... Nice environment, friendly staff but lousy massage and the worst facial ever.

The beautician just touch me for few minutes, cant even feel anything, i request it to be firmer but.. sigh..
The facial, so different from Singapore, no steaming, no removal of blackhead, no mask... All she did was applying a lot of lotion on my face and massage.. *faint*
After such experience, i think i will save my money and go back to Singapore to pamper myself, it will be cheaper and more professional for sure!

Miss Oink -The beginning of my diet program.

Been trying to lose weight, the more i think of it, the more weight i put on. So hilarious. Today, finally, i went to the gym and workout for 1 and half hour, definitely a good beginning! Gambate!!!

I feel that i m really blessed. My Mr Oink love me so much, i can feel it.. is overflowing! Thank you Mr oink. Today is my birthday. Guess what? My beloved Mr Oink took over the kitchen and prepared a sumptous meal for me. Yummy.

A few good friends celebrated my birthday for me too. It was kind of surprise. I was doing my usual stuff at work during closing, and they suddenly appeared with my favourite strawberry cake and started singing. Thank you Sandy, Liping, Emma and Phoebe.

Received quite a number of pressies too. Thank you Mum, Dad, Wendi, Goyo, David, Rachael and everyone who send me wishes thru sms and emails. muackz
