Summary for 1 week in singapore

Been back from Singapore for almost a week. It was quite a tiring trip... Think probably need to train my stamina, getting too unhealthy.

16th Feb: Arrived in singapore and my PIL brought us to bedok for fried kuay teow and hokkien mee. We met some relatives, after shaking each other hands greeting happy new year, one relative turn to Jason and ask, "where is your wife?" I was surprised and i lifted my hand and said, "i am here." Guess what is the response of the relative? She was shocked and said she thought i was PT, Jason's sister. This trip many people mistaken me as sister, some even come up to congrats me and then realise they congrats the wrong person. haha. Accompany PT to her gown fitting, she look gorgeous and she did lose some weight. Good job!

17th Feb: Went to COS(W) for church service, the number of people there are getting lesser and lesser. :( After which, we went to visit my beloved ah ma, so glad that she is recovering really well, Thank God, she could actually walk as normal. Hooray! Just before going home for dinner, i went to Toa Payoh to buy some expensive organic juice which suppose to help in slimming....

It was our reunion dinner and it was really sumptuos, Mom cooked "Buddha jump over the wall." Inside got shark's fin, abalone, fish maw, sea cucumber, scallops, crabmeat and etc... After this meal, i have to start on my diet.

18th Feb: Wake up quite early to go to cantoment police complex to do my fingerprint check. Meet PT at wheelock for some interesting treatment, not telling you what is it. This is also a embarrass day for me. The skirt that i was wearing, just wouldnt stay in place, i was walking down city hall with my mobile phone in my front right pocket and as i walked, i realise my mobile position has change to the back, look at my skirt, the zip was now on the side, embarrass, i quickly shift my skirt back to position. And this carry on thru out the day. Maybe i did lose some weight. Went to SGH with PT, at the zebra crossing, i saw someone in the car that look like my uncle, so he waved at me and i waved back. So he stopped his car after the zebra crossing, so i walk over to say hi, in my mind i remembered that he drove a hyundai, but the car i saw was nissian, i thought something wasnt right. The moment the uncle wound down his windows, i saw a totally unfamiliar face. Embarrass again, i told uncle that i recognise the wrong person but he insisted that he know me, i wonder did he recognise me as some china girl. humph.. and i quickly ran away.

19th Feb: Self invited Mr Oink and I to YC and HH ROM, 1 thing is i wanna share their joy, another is 1 wanna try out my photography skill and EC's new prime lens. Took quite a few good photos and get to eat Hi Tea at Goodwood park hotel. Yum! And that also mean no dieting... :(

20th Feb: Got a free slimming session at Expression that suppose to cost $450, thinking that probably is a good treatment. So i went, the consultant told me that this treatment is only 10mins. Far out... 10mins for $450, so crazy. Anyway, as usual, they started promoting other treatment, i told her i m not interested and i dont stay in singapore at the moment and she said every customer says that, and she said the treatment only cost $50, cant i afford it? Far out! What kind of service, i was really pissed. So i left. Meeting SH at raffles city, she is really a pretty mom, by the way, we met with the consent of her hubby. MW actually sms me and apologise of his action, but still... oh well, forgive and forget. In the evening, we went for PT wedding rehearsal.

21th Feb: Exciting day for Mr Oink and I, we went to HDB to collect our keys!! Proud home owner! Do alot of paperwork and then we proceed to see our flat, very nice and i love it! Visited my ah ma and aunties, ah ma cooked my favourite dish, i feel so loved. Muack ah ma!

22nd Feb: Went to see the flat again with PIL and my uncle who is a contractor. To do a simple renovation cost abt $5k.. wow.. The rest of the day is preparing for tomorrow wedding.

23rd Feb: Today is the big day for PT, we woke up around 6am. So help out here and there, it was a warm day, so everyone was perspiring. haha.. I have lots of fun taking photos, but probably i was too carried away that i forgot that i need to help my MIL, sorry. Too many things to say abt the wedding, to cut it short, the whole wedding was well planned and heart warming.

After the lunch reception, Mr Oink and i went to Ikea to get some fittings for the new house.

24th Feb: Going back to Perth.

So as you can see, the trip back to singapore is fufilling but tiring...

Totally Freaked Out

Hello...
I think I m getting lazier to blog. heehee.. Why is the title "Totally Freaked Out", here it goes,

Last night, Mr Oink and I went to watch Art Festival show by the river, it was really nice and we really had a good time.

Happily we proceed home. Just as we are about to turn into our carport, we saw a man waving at us by the roadside. Innocently, I thought he need help, so I asked Mr Oink to wind down the window, but thank God he didnt. The man came running toward us and he started shouting at us, when he got near our car, he started hitting the window violently, i was totally freaked out.

Immediately, Mr oink drove out of the carport, the man started blocking our way and chasing after us. I almost fainted and my heart was beating really fast.
Mr Oink started driving round and round, trying to calm me down at the same time, I couldnt calm down, i was freaked out.

We decided to drive back to where we stay amd check whether the man is still there, Far out, the man was still there, he was swaying while he walk, Mr oink said that the man is definitely on drugs. So we have to continue driving. I know you must be thinking why we didnt call the police, I was too nervous and Mr oink trying to calm me down, therefore we forgot about the police.

Mr Oink suggested that we go to our friend house, but it was almost 11pm, i feel bad to disturb people. So Mr Oink suggested that we make one more round back home, if the man is still there we will call the police.

Finally, we didnt see the man on the street, of course, i was even more scare now, I m afraid that he might be hiding somewhere to ambush us, we park our car, still waiting in the car, check clear, I geared myself with my tripod and Mr Oink with an umbrella, we decided to run back to our house. We actually run back to back, just in case, not knowing whether the man is hiding somewhere.

Thank God, nothing happen, and we reach home safely, just i was still in shocked and i started crying. Mr Oink tries to put me to bed and he even made me a hot drink to calm me down. And soon, i m into dreamland.

This morning, because i have to go to work before the sunrise, i actually woke Mr Oink up to send me to the car. While driving to work, flashback of last night keep appearing, and when i look at the fingerprint left behind by the man on the window, my heart beating fast.

It was a teribble experience. To assure everyone who is reading my blog, I m fine now and I have learnt a lesson not to trust any stranger, It might endanger my life.

Thursday, New Year: Steamboat, Must finish food then can go home.
Friday, 2nd day of new year: BBQ, eat till full
Sat, 3rd day of new year: PotBless, at least 10 dishes and above, Yu sheng
Sun, 4th day of new year: Big beef burger meal each....

Tell me... when will my new year resolution comes true???
